So I have been coming here for years and they are my favorite bakery. I can't get here early enough for my favorite donuts however everything is awesome so I always leave with something. Their donuts are by far the best. Service is great. Lines get long but move fast. Everyone reviews the derby cake which is fabulous however their donuts are real donuts and the best left around. I am also addicted to chocolate cream cheese muffins and they have one of the best I have had. Live this place!!!

We decided to pick up some pies before Thanksgiving, opting for the chess pie and banana cream pie from Mazzetti's. Though we had to wait about an hour for our order, the desserts were absolutely worth the wait. The chess pie was perfectly rich and buttery with a subtle sweetness (not too sweet which is always my concern). The banana cream pie was another standout--its creamy, decadent filling paired wonderfully with fresh banana slices, and the crust was light and flaky. While the wait time was a bit long, the pies were a hit at our Thanksgiving table.

Got a derby cake to celebrate a birthday. I ordered online and it was a simple process. In my special requests, I've asked for pumpkins instead of balloons. After I paid online, the bakery called to inform me that it's an extra $5 charge that's due when picking up the cake. The cake is one of the lighter American cakes I've eaten. Reminds me Asian fruit cake which is nice! It's layered with generous amounts of strawberry and banana. The cake doesn't last that long and should be eaten within 2-3 days.

3.5*** My favorite here is their popular derby cake. It is pretty much vanilla or chocolate cake (or both if you pre-order ahead) with fresh strawberries and bananas inside. I used to love Mazzetti's Bakery but over the years, it has gone down in service and in quality. Last year, I pre-ordered and paid for my son's birthday cupcakes, a Derby cake, and the small personal size cake for his 1st birthday. I picked out specific colors to match his animal theme party. When my siblings went to pick up my order, the workers could not find it. I texted my siblings the receipt. Then the workers realized they messed up because they missed it, so they had to rush the order and gave me whatever was available. I still ended up getting the cupcakes, derby cake, and personal size cake, but it delayed the start of our party because those were part of our dessert table and decorations. As soon as the desserts arrived, I added the animal decors. This year, for my son's second birthday, I ordered a dozen cupcakes from Mazzetti's Bakery again! It was because it was close to home and still affordable (unlike some places that charges $5-7 per cupcake) with parking. If it was not due to convenience for parking, I would order from Noe Valley Bakery because their cupcakes tasted much better. This time, I got to try Mazzetti's Bakery cupcakes. I tried the red velvet and chocolate. WOW, they were so sweet! I threw half the red velvet one away because it tasted just like sugar. The chocolate one was not too strong in flavor so it was kind of disappointing. Next time, I would have to pre-order cupcakes from Noe Valley or even get it at Luckys since they actually tasted better than here and not overly sweet. The only thing I would get here from now on would be the derby cake. Note: Get the derby cake! I tried their focaccia bread in the past and it was quite plain in taste.

I had their delicious Derby Cake at a birthday party that I knew I was going to order this cake for a family function of 100 people. Even in though it was out of my way, I went to Mazzetti's to place my sheet cake order and explain design specifications. I was in Sweet Tooth heaven to see all the offerings Mazzetti's had from cookies, to donuts, cakes, cannolis, coffee... I was like a kid in a candy store wanted to try everything. This is the kind of bakery you would want to make sure you don't miss anything displayed in their cabinets. There are tables to dine in and hangout. Conveniently located at the corner of Oceana Blvd and Manor Drive, it's a local favorite. The few times I have been there, I have seen lines out the door, yet they provide fast service with several staff waiting on customers one after the other. If only Mazzetti's was near me, I would frequent this place often, but probably a good thing or my sugar intake would be to the roof! LOL Highly recommend to stop by Mazzetti's if ever in Pacifica to satisfy that sugar craving. It's family owned too. To try their famous Derby Cake, you'll have to order a 8 inch round cake as they do not sell it by the slice.

My friend was telling me about their derby cake so I came to check out the shop. I didn't end up with derby cake but I walked out happy. Their selection is really good and everything looked fresh and yummy. I got a few things: Super yummy fudge chocolate slice for $5. This is what every chocolate cake you eat wishes it was. I've been looking for a good chocolate cake and have finally found it. The cupcakes were good as well but the fudge cake slice was my clear winner. They have a lot of seasonal pumpkin items as well but some might have to be preordered so think ahead. The blueberry muffin was also good. The blueberries were still moist and sweet. I also picked up a pumpkin cupcake and a vanilla with chocolate cream cupcake and a cannoli. The cake was the best. I can't wait to try more of their cakes.

I saw all the derby cakes and knew for next celebration had to pick one up. Ordering was easy in person. Choose the size, flavor and writing if needed. The 8" was more than enough for a birthday celebration for 6. The cake is massive and heavy. I liked that it was not overly sweet and the fruit inside was a great touch. Not a whole lot of seating but a lot of different goodies to try. The service is nice and prices are very reasonable. Street parking Cash/card
